Robert L. “Mac” McLeod

Attorney and Founding Partner

Dedicated Advocate for Victims of Malpractice & Injury

Robert “Mac” McLeod is a founding partner at Travieso McLeod, P.A., a specialized trial law firm dedicated to representing individuals and families in the areas of medical malpractice, wrongful death, and catastrophic personal injuries.

Before entering private practice, Mac distinguished himself as the toughest prosecutor in the area while working for the 7th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office as chief prosecutor for six years. Since 1989, Mac has concentrated on recovering damages for victims of medical and hospital malpractice, automobile and truck accidents, defective medical products and prescriptions, and nursing home abuse.

Mac is a Board-Certified Civil Trial Lawyer in the State of Florida, an honor that less than 2% of lawyers in Florida achieve. He is one of the most dynamic courtroom lawyers in the State and is frequently asked to lecture on legal issues such as trial practice and evidence for national organizations

When Mac is not working, you can find him on the golf course or on the water. Mac loves boating with his family and friends. He also enjoys traveling and spending time in the North Carolina mountains. Mac is the proud father of three adult children and four granddaughters.
